Welcome to Upstate NY Roots! My name is Gail and I was born and mostly raised in Batavia NY, a small city halfway between Buffalo and Rochester.
Inspired by other regional branding sites, I wanted to find a way to celebrate all of the things that make Upstate NY a wonderful place to live, work and play. I've always felt that New York City casts a long shadow over the rest of our state. It's time to show everyone what makes the entire state special.
